Ecotrackers

Ecotrackers is a non-profit organization that works directly with students and volunteers from all over the world teaching Spanish, native languages and systems to preseve the health, the biodiversity and cultural diversity of the Andes, the Pacific Ocean and the Amazon rain forest in local training centers.
One of this systems is the intelligent tourism . Another one is developing projects with communities, or volunteers-students projects. Since 1998, Ecotrackers has been teaching Spanish and worked with Indigenous, Secoya, Siona, Shuar, Quichuas del Napo, Quichuas de Pastaza in the Amazonian rain forest, Tzachilas, Manteño-Huancavilca, , and African-Latino communities at the Pacific coast; Cayambis, Panzaleos, Puruhaes, Cañaris in the Andes and mestizo in all Ecuador, situated near national parks: Cuyabeno, Biosphera del Sumaco, Cutucu, Sangay, Ilinizas, Machalilla, Mache-Chindul, Costal marine reseve of Esmeraldas, Cayapas-Mataje, Cotacachi Cayapas, and Galapagos in Ecuador .
In order to achieve our objectives and philosophies, Ecotrackers sends volunteers students and professionals to work with our local liders in communities or places where the work is most needed, as well as where both the safety and usefulness of the students or volunteers can be ensured. Ecotrackers was recognized by the Ecuadorian Government and was given the registration number 2000145 on August 29th of 2000. Since March of 2007, Ecotrackers has been working in the Santiago-Comainas National Park in Peru with the communites along the Santiago, the Morona, and the Marañon Rivers (High Amazons). We also work from San Jose de Morona and Santiago (Ecuador ) to San Lorenzo (Peru) by the National Park Santiago Comainas, the Ecovia Guamote-Macas in the National Park Sangay and Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos National Park to develop the Galapagos-Amazon River Corridor as the main bio and cultural corridor of South America.
Ecotrackers is working with the Health Ministery of Ecuador and the Medicine Faculty of the Central University of Ecuador to develop the use of cultural factors in the rural Healt of Ecuador.

NET OF CLUBS, ORGANIZATIONS AND STUDY CENTERS
Ecotrackers has recently created a new organization called Ecodivers and Econavigators. It is an international club made up of people interested in recreational scuba diving and navigation and the protection of natural rivers, basins, oceans, and other bodies of water and their sustainable use. This organization offers training courses in scuba diving, rafting, as well as beautiful trips and explorations to bodies of water throughout the world. Ecodivers and Econavigators maintains their origin in Ecuador, and here they procure the exploration of the Pacifc Ocean, lakes and waterfalls of the Andes, and rivers and lagoons in the Amazon.To be a member of Ecodivers and Econavigators, or to become a volunteer, explorer, or student, then click here for more information.
