 MEDICINE WITHOUT WALLS

Medicine without walls means beyond clinics, hospitals, beyond walls between countries, religions, or people.

Ecotrackers has offices in:


-Quito capital of Ecuador and South America (UNASUR, Union of South American Nations).
-Same the beach with one of the best tourist infrastructures of the country
-San Francisco del Cabo, the biggest town of the Galera-San Francisco Marine Reserve.

The Galera San Francisco Reserve is the first marine reserve in South America.

We do treatments of stress, depression, some chronic diseases, addictions in young people, and rehabilitation of patients with medical treatments,  and people that require certain type of ambulatory therapy.

WE INVESTIGATE AND DEVELOP THE USE OF THALASSOTHERAPY (marine-therapy.

In Ecuador we visit nine beaches located between Same, La Reserva Marina Galera San Francisco and Muisne.
This medicine uses the sea,  sun, beach, forests, water, jungle, food, medicine plants near.

Each beach has different properties in seawater and in the composition of the sand. There are beaches with more titanium, calcium or silicon, and this composition changes with the tides. 

Those are beaches, with little tourism and some are hidden beaches, with rivers without pollution, near one of the last tropical rainforest.

These beaches are influenced by the Niño Current from December to May and from the Humboldt Current from June to November, but the water in the Ocean
 always has higher than 20 degrees.

The properties of the coasts located in the Equatorial Line, opposite the Pacific, also have very particular properties to cure.

We use the quality of our beaches, sea, air, climate, solar radiation, influence of the moon, marine and coastal food, seawater. salt without fluor, medicinal plants, hiking and excursions as therapy.






We also use: acupuncture,  rural and traditional Ecuadorian  medicine.

The rural medicine uses the scientific-technical advances plus the own resources of the environment

 We also use  acupuncture, and gimno-philosophies such as yoga, tai-chi, meditation, philosophical walks,  ancient rituals, dance therapy, theater therapy,   eco-reflexive swimming.

We call gimno-philosophies to the philosophy that is born from the corporal movement.

To do this program, Dr. Stephen Summers (Jesse) of Acupuncturists Without Borders with long experience in New Mexico, and  Dr. Maximiliano Moreno, (Maximiliano) doctor of the Ministry of Health, on the difficult northern border, during the Colombian armed conflict, and the Seguro Social Campesino (Social Security), in the earthquake zone of April 2016 in Esmeraldas, researcher of the history of health in the nationalities, ethnicities and protected areas of Ecuador. with the collaboration of  doctors , acupuncturists, shamans, healers or sobadores of the country and abroad,  and the Central University of Ecuador.

We are looking for a collaborator to do research on traditional medicine applied to stress, parkinson's, epilepsy, arthritis, pains, and chronic or degenerative diseases, dependences,  new approaches to diseases transmitted by aedes aegypti,  relationship between salt fluoride and hypertension, use of medicinal plants, or curative fruits from the tropical rainforest , the production of audiovisual material for health 

and research on thalassotherapy.

EXPLORATION STUDIES AND RESEARCH USING TOURISM WITHOUT WALLS

Ecotrackers provides logistical support and accompaniment of professors from the Central University and expert fishermen or  local people  to do research, practices, scientific observation in Quito and the Marina Galera San Francisco Reserve.

Ecotrackers implements the protection of endangered species, reforestation activities, exposure to the cultural use of plants for healing and utility (for example, which plants are used to cure an injury or illness and which plant is used to spin fibers to weave a hammock? Watch this process in the jungle!) And the low impact tourist use of rivers, estuaries, beaches, the ocean and the tropical cloud forest.  Eco-responsible marine life observation, fishing and sports tourism. 

Ecotrackers  supports community and cooperative organic agriculture and farms with husbandry practices that breed and process animals without torture.

We work in the Muisne Mangroves in the Mache-Chindul Reserve, located in the Muisne Canton province of Esmeraldas, which, given its great biodiversity and cultural diversity, aspires to become the new continental Galapagos. Here was the earthquake of April 16, 2016. It is their interest, that people reborn developing the economy of conservation and environmental improvement, through tourism.

In this place it is possible to observe in the Pacific Ocean, whales, giant manta rays, sea lions, turtles, corals and to study the richness and influence of the Humboldt and Niño currents. Admire and study the tropical humid coastal forest life, only comparable to the Amazon forest.

You can walk and bathe in hidden beaches, without touristic congestion or pollution, eat unprepared natural foods, live the kindness of the people, the kindest country in the world, study history and cultures from before our era.

For this Ecotrackers has nearby camping areas, where it can be reached from tents, or hotels, where it is possible to be near spaces without walls and have access to forms of access and local guides. In the camps there are also Spanish, South American football and tropical dances with residents of Cabo San Francisco.

TRAINING IN SPANISH WITHOUT WALLS

The objective of our study is to interact mainly in the streets, towns and cities and lose the fear of learning  another language. (Immersion Studies)

Ecotrackers has taught Spanish Without Walls for 17 years.

Students travel between the Andes, the beautiful beaches of Esmeraldas and tourist sites such as the Galapagos Islands, with the most diverse species of plant and animal life of any country in the world, each in a concentrated area.

Students can choose to live with families , in a room in our Latin American students apartments or in the hotels that work with us.

In any of these places, the practice of Spanish continues, and is complemented by dance classes, cooking, excursions and visits to interesting places.

FIRST LEVEL (2 weeks) Spanish for travelers

It includes the use of the article, the noun, the adjective, the pronoun, the present, the gerund, the participle and the imperative

SECOND LEVEL (2 weeks) Spanish for volunteers and workers

The student learn the past and the future,

THIRD LEVEL (2 weeks) is Spanish for studies and business. The student learns the conditional and the subjunctive.
