ECOTRACKERS AND DEFORMATION IN HEALTH
Ecotrackers is a foundation registered with the Ministry of Tourism of Ecuador, which protects biodiversity, cultural diversity, and health in Ecuador, through tourism.
Tourism has become the main means of spreading diseases and this was most visible in the Chicungunya plague, which arrived in America from the Dominican Republic, the important tourist island in the Caribbean.
At this time, pests move mainly by air, unlike what happened in the 16th century, when the discovery of America occurred when pests arrived on ships.
During the pandemic, the spread of the Covid plague and all its variants occurred extraordinarily quickly. Furthermore, the plague spread throughout the planet, which was not noticed by so-called globalization.
After the pandemic, which meant the biggest business in history for pharmaceutical companies, advertising for drugs, cosmetics, and natural products skyrocketed in Ecuador.
In Ecuador, the concept of advertising is that it is about using publicity to achieve everything, from appointing a president to creating compulsive consumers.
This use of advertising, without any control, as the basis of the economic income of private and state media to manipulate the masses, has turned into drug dependency, self-medication, misinformation, and what is worse, in a business similar to drug trafficking, but without illegality.
While in other countries in the world, the sale of drugs is controlled by state entities, in Ecuador, the Ministry of Health, which has to control the sale of drugs, and even prepared and preserved foods, does not have an early warning system. that qualifies the advertising as misleading, harmful, or false advertising.
In addition, television channels and Internet content use news, interviews, advertising, and even religious programs to create clients, for companies that sponsor programs, or even for healers or witches.
The journalism practiced in Ecuador is mercenary journalism, in which the journalist creates news, seeks information, and explores what is happening, but can only say what the editor-in-chief allows.
Journalism in Ecuador is the mechanism through which individuals who investigate crimes become victims of violence, and of the violent or corrupt people they investigate, but a way to influence the rulers in power, even to install and remove presidents, like CNN journalists do.
In filler programs such as programs for housewives, doctors are interviewed, who use the program to gain fame, and attract clients, but also to repeat like parrots what they have been told by the old books in which they studied, their old professors, or the pharmaceutical companies through their doctors' representatives and their free samples.
Free samples help doctors do business with medications within their offices, or to take their patients to the pharmacy that sells them.
Not only are doctors offered free samples and free information on new medications, but the pharmaceutical companies finance medical conferences and the exhibitors who have to advertise the medications.
In Ecuador, the health system is divided into three segments, the Ministry of Health, which offers free medicine, the Social Security and Seguro Social Campesio, which offers medicine to those who pay for their insurance membership, and the medicine private that can be corporate, such as clinics and hospitals, private insurance, or individual by general doctors or specialists who have their clinic or private office.
But alternative medicine is also legal, from the sellers of medicinal plants in the markets, from the healers, the religious medicine that has television programs like Stop Sufrir, from a transnational religious company in Brazil, which uses miraculous medicine, and there are also pilgrimages, or shamanic medicine, especially in the Province of Santo Domingo, where the most famous shamans and healers come from the Tzachila community, or from the Amazon, where ayahuashca-based narco-medicine is practiced.
The supply system of the Ministry of Health is through the so-called reverse auctions in which the Ministry proposes the purchase and the pharmaceutical companies compete with their products and prices to satisfy the government's demand.
In addition, popular radio stations revolutionized rural education with stations in the fields, which created distance education in Ecuador. Finally, radio stations like Radio La Luna were key in the fall of the governments of Abdalá Bucara, Yamil Mahuad, and Lucio Gutiérrez. Today, when misinformation, bad information, and the propaganda of medicines, and health products, from devices to medicinal plants, has flooded the media, especially television and the Internet, creating an atmosphere saturated with miraculous medicines, I see the need for the Ecotrackes Foundation, in alliance with the Faculty of Medicine of the Central University, to create the information center of the health, biodiversity, and cultural diversity of Ecuador.
The situation in Ecuador
Ecuador, the most megadiverse country per square kilometer, is experiencing the global problem of mass extinction and is facing Climate Change, corruption, and the low-intensity civil war called Internal Armed Conflict, or War on Drug Trafficking, which began in the year 2000, during the government of George W. Bush, and Jamil Mahuad, who after signing the defeat of Ecuador in the Cenepa War, brought the North Americans back to the territory of Ecuador, from where they were expelled in 1946, by the Government of Velasco Ibara, after the signing of the Treaty of Rio de Janeiro, on January 28, 1941. The Treaty of Rio Janeiro was the origin of a long era of rivalry with Peru that began in 1941 and ended in 2000.
This treaty imposed the limits between Ecuador and Peru, determined by North American President Delano Roosevelt. This war was over rubber from the Amazon. In 1936, that is, 5 years before the Peruvian invasion of Ecuador, the United States government needed more rubber from Iquitos, which was its main supplier, but this rubber came from the jungles. Amazonian of Ecuador. Ecuador was then the main supplier of rubber to Germany and the Nazis since the 1930s, which is why the United States was Peru's ally in the 1941 war.
Defeat in the war and the treaty of Rio de Janeiro stripped Ecuador of almost half of its territory and allowed for United States military bases in the Galapagos.
Today Ecuador is facing the most powerful cartels in the world for cocaine trafficking, and has become the most violent country in South America, one of the most violent in the world, with cities like Guayaquil and Durán at the head of this humanitarian disaster.
During the government of Guillermo Lasso, Ecuador became the main exporter of cocaine to Europe, as this government handed over control of the Port of Guayaquil and the country's maritime customs to the Albanian Mafia, which financed its electoral campaign.
The government of Lenin Moreno brought the North Americans back to Manta, a port from where they were taken by the government of Rafael Correa, and what's more, it returned them to the Galapagos, the strategic islands in front of the Panama Canal, from where, now thanks to the government of Guillermo Lasso, who exchanged the islands for 1,600,000,000 Usd. giving them not only the islands but also control over 200,000 km2 of our territorial sea.
Today, the Galapagos and the internal armed conflict are the hook that Ecuador has to be able to invade the United States with our migrants, who have turned that country into our main source of employment and remittances.
Surely, thanks to these migrants we will be able to appoint the next president of the United States, and if not, at least some ruler, as the Mexicans do today in California, or the Cubans in Florida.
Surely we, with the Colombians, Dominicans, Puerto Ricans, Venezuelans, the Latinos of the Big Apple, will appoint the next governor of New York, which for now is in the hands of the Italians, or the blacks of the USA, since the post-world war.
The War on the Border, as the campaign against immigrants invading the United States is now called, is entering the decisive phase in the upcoming 2024 elections, in which Donald Trump offers to deport Hispanics by the millions,
and this can give him victory over Biden, but it is the direct path to the confrontation between the United States and Latin America, its backyard, that is its colonies.
The United States saw the same thing as the Roman Empire when it was peacefully invaded by the Goths, who were part of the workers of Rome, finally trying to expel them and ended up being defeated by Alaric, the Goth leader who ended the Empire.
It is very possible that in this 21st century, the end of the North American Empire will come, and that its executioners will be the countries in its backyard that are already invading it.
