Las cosas fueron de mal en peor, asi que por suerte tenía un lugar donde recibirlos, con todas las comodidades, y ellos podían esta sólos, pero donde hacía solo una semana fiue asesinado un abogado en la Av. Amazonas, y Carrión,
Estamos en un tiempo de elecciones, pues el gobierno del presidente Guillermo Lasso optó por la muerte cruzada, una posibilidad que perminte la Constitución de Ecuador, para adelantar elecciones, eliminando la Asamblea Nacional y gobernando mediante decretos por 6 meses, antes de que llegue el nuevo presidente que tan sólo podrá gobernar por un año y medio, en un tiempo de desastres naturales por la llegada del Fenómeno del Niño, que se anuncia pra el fin de año, que si es como el de 1982, que mi esposa y yo lo vivimos en el Cabo de San Francisco, en la costa de la provincia de Esmeraldas, será desastroso pues ahora hay mas carreteras, puentes, casa, redes eléctricas, servicios de agua potable alcantarillado y el doble de la población, que en en estos 40 años, pasó de 8 millones a 16 millones, con una mayor concentración en la Costas Ecuatoriana, que ahora es la región mas sencible al Fenómeno de Niño, y donde la violencia está desbocada, pues se ha convertido en un campo de guerra de los carteles transnacionales de la cocaína, que se diputan los puertos y los barrios.
Ayer en un concurrido bar de un barrio llamado Gonzalez Suárez, mi hija y su esposo, que es de origen coreano, profesor de matemáticas en un colegio de Aahorus, en Dinamarca, y ambos son instructores de tae kon do en esa ciudad, fuimos a celebrar sus doce años de matrimonio, fue una noche encantadora, con buena comida, cervezas de toda clase, vino, pero nadie se embriagó ni se salio de sus casillas.

Comer cuy era un antojo de Min Ho el esposo de mi hija, Carmen Verónica, el lugar asi como el cuy fueron agradables, aunque al ver la cabeza del roedor, que parece a la de una rata grande, no es simpático.
Luego fuimos a visitar la iglesia y el parque central de Sangolquí, una iglesia colonial, su fachada fue recontruida en 1926, tras terremotos y la explosión del volcán Cotopaxi, que nuevamente está en actividad, junto con otros cuatro volcanes que son el Tungurahua activo desde los primeros años de este siglo, el Reventador, vecino de Quito en la Amazonía, activo desde el 2000, el Sangay, que está activo desde siempre, pero ahora arroja cenizas hasta Guayaquil, desde hace 6 años. El Cotopaxi, que desde el 2013 arroja nuevamente cenizas y lava, impone temor a los vecinos del volcan. Pocas semanas antes de la llegada de mi hija la Defensa Civil, advirtió a la población de Sangolquí que debía preparse para una evacuación, se hicieron ejercicios para estar preparados si las explociones del volcán se incrementan, pues es el volcán activo más alto del mundo, y se teme que la nieve de su cima, produzca inundaciónes.
