The Ecotrackers Foundation has created the information center for ecotrackers, or ecorastreadores, that is, for tourists and travelers with an ecological conscience, for immigrants who arrive in Ecuador, and for students who circulate through the Barrio de la Mariscal.
BACKGROUND.
The pandemic, quarantine, social distancing, tele-education, tele-health, tele-work, and internet commerce, added to the sharp increase in unemployment, school dropouts, the massive bankruptcy of informal workers, the small businesses, the increase in the price of fuels and fertilizers, due to the war in Europe, the economic and social paralysis, due to the indigenous protest, the neoliberal measures to reduce the size of the state, the lack of public investment, corruption in the government, the parties, the police, the army, the misinformation and manipulation of the population by the media, the war on drug trafficking and the migratory war, which is being waged from the United States against Ecuador and Latin America, created by the high price of cocaine, arms trafficking, human trafficking, economic blockades, media warfare, added to environmental catastrophes, have produced a migratory crisis from Ecuador, of Ecuadorians that is reviving the migratory crisis experienced since the Banking Holiday of 1999, the white spot plague, and dollarization, which affected the population's savings, wages, and the shrimp industry, when we were the main world exporter.
